Every client is different, which is why consultation and suitability are at the heart of every Plasma treatment.
What is plasma?
Plasma is an advanced aesthetic treatment that uses a controlled plasma arc at the surface of the skin. The treatment creates a controlled thermal effect, triggering the skin's natural healing response. As the skin heals, the treated area may develop a firmer, smoother and more refined appearance. Results vary from person to person, and realistic expectations will always be discussed before treatment.
What can plasma treat?
Depending on your individual suitability, Plasma may be considered for areas affected by the appearance of:
-
Fine lines
-
Skin laxity
-
Crepey-looking skin
-
Selected concerns around the eye area
-
Selected areas of the face
-
Selected areas of the body
Your skin and the area you wish to treat will be assessed during your consultation. If I don't believe Plasma is the right treatment for you, I'll tell you.

What happens at your consultation?
Your consultation is an important part of the treatment process.
We'll discuss:
- Your concerns
- What you'd like to improve and why.

What happens during the treatment?
Your skin will be prepared before treatment begins. The Plasma device is then used to treat the agreed area using controlled applications.
You may experience warmth, sensitivity or discomfort during treatment. Following treatment, the skin can appear red, swollen or sensitive, and small crusted areas may develop. You'll be given full aftercare instructions following your appointment.
Healing and aftercare
Healing is an extremely important part of the Plasma process. Immediately after treatment, you may experience:
-
Redness
-
Swelling
-
Sensitivity
-
Tightness
-
Dryness
-
Small crusted areas
This is part of the expected healing process for many Plasma treatments. Do not pick or remove any crusting.
You'll receive personalised aftercare instructions following your appointment, including advice about cleansing, skincare, sun exposure and products to avoid while your skin heals.
Healing time varies depending on the treatment area and your individual skin response.
How many treatments will i need?
There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer.
The number of treatments required depends on your skin, the area being treated and the concern you're looking to address.
Some clients may be suitable for one treatment, while others may benefit from a treatment plan. This will be discussed honestly during your consultation.
Is plasma suitable for everyone?
No.
Plasma isn't suitable for everyone especially clients with melanin rich skin as this can cause hyperpigmentation, which is why a consultation and full consultation is required. Plasma treatments are not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
If you have a medical condition, take medication or have any concerns about your suitability, please contact me before booking.
